Packing, Shipping, Insurance and Return Policy
Once an order is accepted by girrard.com an order confirmation e-mail will be sent;
Items sold on girrard.com typically ship
Typically, items ordered on girrard.com will be shipped via UPS, insured for the full purchase price. Original art valued in excess of $25,000 will be shipped and insured by an alternate means, to be determined on an individual basis;
Each item shipped by girrard.com is professionally packaged, giving it the best opportunity to arrive undamaged;
When you receive and open your shipment, please save all packing materials until you are sure that the shipment has arrived undamaged;
A UPS Tracking Number will be e-mailed to the purchaser for all UPS shipments;
For shipments received with damage to the outer packing materials, see ‘Damaged Shipments – Filing Claims’ below.
girrard.com grants you a ten (10)
calendar day in-home approval period unless otherwise agreed in writing. All
sales are final as of

notify girrard.com by e-mail no later than
B. You ship the item being returned within fifteen (15) calendar days from your date of receipt (or the date the item was delivered to the address provided by you, whichever is earlier), packing, shipping and insurance charges prepaid, via the same carrier that delivered it to you, packed in the same or comparable packing materials you received it in, and by a shipment priority at least equal to the shipment priority used in sending the item to you;
C. You insure the item being returned for the full purchase price;
D. The returned item must be received by girrard.com in the same condition it was in when shipped to you and this determination shall be made in the sole discretion of girrard.com;
E. Packing, shipping and insurance costs incurred by girrard.com in sending the item to you will be deducted from your refund.
Most items offered for sale on girrard.com are truly limited, or one of kind items. Therefore, we strictly enforce our Return Policy and hereby declare that time is of the essence with regard to all time periods stated herein unless we have specifically agreed otherwise in writing. By placing an order with girrard.com you are signifying your consent and agreement to the policies set forth herein.
Damaged Shipments – Filing Claims
In the event you receive a shipment from girrard.com with apparent damage to the outer packing material, please do the following:
1. If you notice the damage while the carrier’s delivery person is still present, point the packing material damage out and ask the delivery person to make a note of the damage, in your presence, on his paperwork;
2. Carefully open the package, saving all packing materials (If the delivery person has the time, open the package in their presence);
3. Carefully inspect the purchased item. If the item is damaged do the following:
A. Do not throw any of the packing materials away. Save them for inspection;
B. Call the carrier immediately and report the damage;
C. E-mail girrard.com and report the damage;
D. Keep the damaged item in a safe place until you receive instructions as to its disposition.
4. Upon receiving your e-mail report of damage girrard.com will follow up with the carrier and with you to determine the best way to proceed with the damage claim and with your order;
5. Damage claims must be reported to the carrier and to girrard.com within 24 hours of discovery;
6. If you have followed these procedures you will receive an identical replacement item or, where no replacement item is available, a full refund of your purchase price including packing, shipping and insurance charges.

It is very unusual for a shipment to arrive where the outer packing materials are in good condition, but with damage to the contents. This is because girrard.com carefully inspects all items ordered before delivering them to a professional fulfillment center for packaging and shipment. Further, the fulfillment center has been instructed by girrard.com to carefully inspect each item before packaging and shipment to insure that it is in good condition.
